DHCP and DNS Configurations

New computer in the office? Gotta assign it a static IP address so it can get on the network. A DHCP server  automatically assigns IP addresses to computers once they are turned on.

Tired of remembering all those IP addresses on your network? 192.168.??????.?????? Wish you could find a computer on the network by just typing scanning_station.com? With a DNS server this can be possible. No more need to try and remember those long confusing IP addresses.
